Brothers,
On this Founder’s Day, we celebrate our 155th year as a brotherhood. On December 10th 1869, the Five Friends and Brothers gathered to draft a constitution and they founded the Kappa Sigma Fraternity in North America. At the time 46 East Lawn on the University of Virginia campus was occupied by William Grigsby McCormick. It was there, on that cold December evening, that McCormick, with four friends, Frank Courtney Nicodemus, Edmund Law Rogers, John Covert Boyd and George Miles Arnold, founded the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
We will spend this Founder’s Day celebrating our fellowship alongside the undergraduate brothers. We will be honoring Brother Ed Sponzilli for the night while enjoying the four course meal below with unlimited wine and draft beer(alumni 21+)!
